Taiwan Entry Permit for fulfilling contractual

This quotation only applies to Mainland Chinese professionals who need to perform services in Taiwan to fulfilling contractual obligations and apply for an Exit & Entry Permit (EEP) in Taiwan.

  1. Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit (EEP) Application

    Kaizen’s service includes the following services:

    (1)
    Provide professional consultation for Taiwan EEP application;
    (2)
    Review the application documents provided by the clients;
    (3)
    Assist clients in preparing the documents required for application;
    (4)
    Fill out the EEP application forms and other documents;
    (5)
    Submit the EEP application documents to the National Immigration Agency;
    (6)
    Communicate with the Taiwan National Immigration Agency during the application process;
    (7)
    Pay visa application fee and pick-up the EEP on client behalf;
    (8)
    Assist Clients apply for information changes, such as itinerary after approval.

  2. Application Criteria for Mainland Chinese professionals

    Mainland Chinese who need to attend and visit exhibitions in Taiwan, and who meet the following qualifications may be considered by the Taiwan immigration for an Exit & Entry Permit:

    Applicants who serve as a person in charge or manager of a multinational enterprise, or to engage in specialized or technical service.

  3. Application Criteria for Taiwan company

    Taiwan company must meet one of the following conditions:
    (1)
    Taiwan company or foreign-invested businesses with an annual turnover of at least NTD10 million, or newly established company with a capital of at least NTD5 million.
    (2)
    Foreign branch company in Taiwan with an annual turnover of at least NTD10 million, or newly established branch with operating funds of at least NTD5 million.
    (3)
    Representative office of a foreign company or a Mainland China company established in Taiwan with annual procurement of at least USD1 million. Financial services offices are exempt from this requirement.
    (4)
    Foreign Company with Branch in Taiwan or Mainland China Company with Branch in Taiwan with an annual turnover of at least NTD10 million, or newly established branches with operating funds of at least NTD5 million. Financial services branches are exempt from this requirement.
    (5)
    Free trade zone enterprises as defined in Article 3, Clause 2 of the Act for the Establishment and Management of Free Trade Zones.
    (6)
    Export processing zone enterprises as defined in Article 3, Paragraph 1 of the Act for the Establishment and Management of Export Processing Zones.
    (7)
    Agricultural science and technology park enterprises as defined in Article 4, Clause 2 of the Act for the Establishment and Management of Agricultural Science and Technology Parks.

  4. Application Processing Time

    The processing time for individual applications for an Exit & Entry Permit is approximately one to two months. The actual working days may vary depending on the case.

  5. Validity of Exit & Entry Permit (EEP)

    The maximum stay period is only from 3 days before the exhibition to 3 days after the exhibition. Extensions cannot be applied before expiration.

  6. Required Documents and Information for Taiwan Exit & Entry Permit (EEP) Applications

    (1)
    A copy of the Taiwan ID Card or passport of the responsible person of the Taiwan company;
    (2)
    A Copy of the Taiwan company’s business registration certificate, proof of turnover or proof of procurement;
    (3)
    A copy of the signed contract or relevant supporting documents for services in Taiwan;
    (4)
    A copy of the company’s business registration certificate for the applicant’s employer;
    (5)
    A copy of applicant’s employment certificate (which should include the name, nationality, job title, job description and employment period);
    (6)
    A copy of the Mainland Chinese professional’s passport or Mainland Residents Traveling to Taiwan Permit card;
    (7)
    A copy of the Mainland Chinese professional’s ID card;
    (8)
    Application form filled out by Mainland Chinese professional;
    (9)
    Power of Attorney;
    (10)
    Two 2-inch passport-size photos taken within the last six months (JPG file);
    (11)
    Itinerary(which should include the address and contact information in Taiwan).

  7. Important Notes

    The list mentioned above is not final; the Taiwan National Immigration Agency may require additional information and/or documents depending on the case. If the applicants lives overseas (outside the mainland, Hong Kong or Macau), they must provide identification documents from their place of residence and process the identify confirmation procedure with the Taiwan representative offices abroad.
