The National Wage Council of Vietnam recently voted and agreed that Vietnam’s minimum wage should be increased by 6% from 1 July 2024.  When the foregoing adjustment is officially approved and implemented, Vietnam’s minimum wage will be adjusted as follows:

1. Monthly Minimum Wage
   
   Region 1: VND4,960,800
   Region 2: VND4,409,600
   Region 3: VND3,858,400
   Region 4: VND3,445,000
   
   
2. Minimum Hourly Wage
   
   Region 1: VND23,800
   Region 2: VND21,000
   Region 3: VND18,600
   Region 4: VND16,600
   

Note:

(1)	Region 1 covers urban Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City;
(2)	Region 2 covers rural Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City along with Da Nang;
(3)	Region 3 covers provincial cities and districts of Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Hai Duong, Phu To, Binh Phuc and other provinces not listed in Region I and Region II;
(4)	Region 4 covers remaining localities.
