Who is eligible for Work Holiday Programme?

You can apply for a Work Holiday Pass under the Work Holiday Programme if you meet these requirements:
1.

You are aged 18 to 25 at the time of application;
|
|
2.
|
You are an undergraduate or graduate of a university in Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, United Kingdom or United States;
|
|
3.
|
Your university is recognised by the government of the respective ten countries or regions;
|
|
4.
|
For undergraduates: you have been a resident and a full-time student of the university for at least 3 months before applying for the pass; and
|
|
5.
|
For graduates: you were a resident and a full-time student of the university.
|
Note: The Work Holiday Programme has a capacity of 2,000 applicants at any one time.

What you can do under Work Holiday Programme?

Under the Work Holiday Programme, you can get a Work Holiday Pass that lets you stay and work in Singapore for up to six (6) months.
If you will be working in professions such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, architecture or law, you will need to comply with registration requirements to practise in Singapore.

The application takes up to three (3) weeks to be processed for most cases. It may take longer when additional documents are required by the MOM.

No, the company is not required to pay any levy for Work Holiday Pass holder.

Can I apply for another Work Holiday Pass if I have held this pass before?

Yes, if you have held a Work Holiday Pass before, you can only reapply for another Work Holiday Pass after 12 months from the day you last held the pass.
