A: Beneficial owner refers to the natural person who ultimately owns or actually controls the filing entity, or enjoys the final income of the filing entity.

Q: How is the beneficial owners of state-owned company determined?
A: A wholly state-owned company and a state-owned holding company shall file the legal representative as the beneficial owner.

Q: How is the beneficial owner of a branch of a foreign company determined?
A: The beneficial owner of a branch of a foreign company shall be the beneficial owner identified by the foreign company in accordance with relevant regulations, as well as the senior management of the branch.

Q: When should a company file beneficial owner information?
A: The company shall file the beneficial owner information through the relevant registration system at the time of establishment and registration.

Q: What needs to be done if there is a change in the information of the beneficiaries?
A: Where the information of the beneficial owner of the filing entity changes, or no longer meets the conditions of the commitment exemption stipulated in the relevant provisions, the beneficial owner information shall be filed through the relevant registration system within 30 days from the date of the change or failure to meet the conditions of the commitment exemption.
