What is housing fund?
A:
Housing fund refers to the long-term housing savings fund by enterprises and their employees to the Housing Fund Management Committee.

Q:
Who should pay the housing provident fund?
A:
State agencies, state-owned enterprises, urban collective enterprises, foreign-invested enterprises, urban private enterprises and other urban enterprises, government-sponsored institution, private non-enterprise units, social organizations (hereinafter referred to as units) and their in-service employees shall pay the housing fund according to law. Other units and their employees may contribute to the housing fund on a voluntary basis, and individual businesses and freelancers may also apply to pay the housing fund.

Whom do the housing funds contributed by both the company and its employees belong to?
A:
The housing fund paid by individual employees and the housing fund paid by the unit for employees are all owned by the individual employee.

Q:
What are the purposes of housing fund?
A: The housing fund shall be used for employees to purchase, construct, renovate, and overhaul of the self-occupied houses, and no unit or individual shall misappropriate it for other purposes.

Q:
How to handle the registration of housing fund payment?
A: The unit shall register the payment of housing fund with the Housing Fund Management Centre and handle the procedures for establishing a housing fund account for its employees. Each employee can only have one housing fund account.
