It depends. A maximum of two categories of business may be reflected in a corporate name. If the said specially permitted business has yet been registered or listed in the business scope, or such special permission is revoked or its registration is nullified, an application for changes in corporate name shall be filed.

When to apply for the change of company name is appropriate?

The industries of science, other industrial parks, or park services which finished the establishment and registration of a company in Taiwan and intended to change the company name shall request the approval of reservation of new company name from MOEA and the approval from project standard authority to hold the shareholder meeting for the adoption of article of association. Such request of change of company name shall be submitted within 15 days after the shareholder meeting.
