A: Not necessarily, the two addresses can be different.

A: Not necessarily. A preliminary inspection is only required if the company is registered in Taipei City.

Q: How many companies can be registered at the same business address?
A: There is no regulation in the Company Act that prohibits registering more than one company with the same business type at the same address.

Q: How should a limited company handle relocating to a different county or city?
A: When a limited company relocates to a different county or city, the relocation should be approved by a resolution of the shareholders’ meeting to ament the articles of incorporation, followed by a resolution of the board of directors regarding the new address. However, if the new address has already been decided by the shareholders’ meeting, a resolution from the board of directors is not required.

Q: Can the company be in an industrial park?
A: When applying for company registration, there is no need to review urban planning or building regulations. However, the location must still comply with relevant regulations such as building management, urban planning, fire safety, and public health laws to avoid penalties.
