Question

Taiwan Company – Company Stamps

Answer
Q: What are company stamps?
A: Company stamps consist of two stamps: the company stamp, which bears the company's name, and the representative's stamp, which bears the name of the company's representative.

Q: Can a company have only one set of company stamps?
A: Yes. Only one set of registered company stamps may be registered with competent authority. If required for day-to-day business operations, the company may produce duplicate company stamps for internal use.

Q: Can duplicate company stamps be used for company registration change applications?
A: No. Only the registered company stamps currently registered with the competent authority may be used for company registration change applications.

Q: What should I do if the registered company stamps are lost?
A: Please apply to the competent authority for a change of the registered stamps due to loss.

Q: Are there any requirements for the design or format of the company stamps?
A: No. The only requirement is that the company stamp and the representative's stamp clearly display the correct company name and the name of the company's representative, respectively.
