Q: What are the eligibility requirements for participation in the farmer pension?
A: Applicants who meet all of the following conditions may apply:
  1. Are under 65 years old age.
  2. Are insured persons under the farmer health insurance program and are actively engaged in agricultural work.

Q: May a person who receives only military insurance discharge benefits and is enrolled in farmer health insurance participate in the farmer pension?
A: Yes.

Q: Is holding farmer health insurance coverage alone sufficient to make contributions to the farmer pension?
A: No. Other contribution eligibility requirements for the Farmer Pension must also be met.

Q: Does having farmers health insurance require mandatory contributions to the farmer pension?
A: No. The farmer pension is a voluntary contribution program, and eligible individuals may choose whether to participate.

Q: How can I make contributions to the farmer pension?
A: Please apply in person at the Farmer Association where you are enrolled in farmer health insurance.
