China Holiday Arrangement in 2025 Announced
Stating from 1 January 2025, the eve of the Chinese Lunar New Year and May 2 will become newly added statutory holidays according to the revised Measures on National Holidays and Memorial Days, which was released by the State Council of the PRC on 12 November 2024.
The arrangements of statutory holidays for all citizens in 2025 released by the General Office of the State Council of the PRC are as follows:

New Year's Day
1 January 2025 (one day off in total).

Spring Festival (Chinese New Year)
From 28 January to 4 February 2025 (eight days off in total).
26 January (Sunday) and 8 February (Saturday) are adjusted as official working days.

Qingming Festival
From 4 April to 6 April 2025 (three days off in total).

Labour Day
From 1 May to 5 May 2025 (five days off in total).
27 April (Sunday) is adjusted as official working days.

Dragon Boat Festival
From 31 May to 2 June 2025 (three days off in total).

Mid-autumn Festival & National Day
From 1 October to 8 October 2025 (eight days off in total).
28 September (Sunday) and 11 October (Saturday) are adjusted as official working days.
