Integrated License Reform Launched in Pudong China
On 14 November 2020, the State Council of the PRC released an approval on the pilot reform of one integrated license in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai. The pilot reform will be carried out from the date of approval until the end of 2022.
According the pilot program, Pudong New Area of Shanghai will establish systems for sector-specific integrated license, which will merge multiple licenses into one for market access to specific sectors. The processing time limit of integrated license shall be determined in accordance with the shortest time limit of each separate license before the reform, which will greatly shorten the approving time limit and reduce the market access cost of market entities.
