A:
About 6-8 weeks.

Is it required to appoint a local person to act as the director for companies in France?
A:
There don’t have the position of director for companies in France. The counterpart position is manager or general manger, which is without the requirement of nationality.

Is it required to notarize the proof of identity and residency of shareholder or manager?
A:
Yes, it is. The mentioned documents are all required to be notarized by the lawyer in the country of the head office first and be notarized again by the consulate or ambassy of the designated country in France.

What is the suggested amount of capital to register a company in France?
A:
There have no certain requirement of the amount of capital in France, but generally speaking, the amount of capital is usually registered as EUR7,500. It would be better to register as EUR4,000 if opening of a local bank account is planned.

Is it required to verify the amount of capital in the process of establishment of a company in France?
A:
Yes, it is. The amount of capital shall be held by the France notary (lawyer) in his/her behalf to specify the purpose of this amount of capital and prove the amount of capital is arrived to the department of company registration and compliance.
