What is Work and Holiday Visa Programme?
A: The Work and Holiday Visa Programme allows eligible Australian students and young Australian graduates to work and holiday in Singapore.

Who is eligible for Work and Holiday Visa Programme?
A:
You can apply for a Work Holiday Pass under the Work and Holiday Visa Programme if you meet these requirements:
1.
You are an Australian citizen.
2. You are aged 18 to 30 at the time of application.
3. You hold a university degree, or have completed the equivalent of two years of full-time undergraduate university study
Note: The Work and Holiday Visa Programme has a capacity of 500 applicants at any one time.

What you can do and cannot do under Work and Holiday Visa Programme?
A:
Under the Work and Holiday Visa Programme, you can get a Work Holiday Pass that lets you stay and work in Singapore for up to twelve (12) months.

Work as employees of companies registered with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (“ACRA”)
Cannot take up free-lance employment.
Work as employees of organisations registered with Registry of Societies (“ROS”).
Cannot work with the same employer for more than six (6) months. You can choose to find another employer after that, or spend the rest of the time holidaying.
Work in professions (such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, architecture, law, etc), as long as you have the registration requirements to practise in Singapore.
Cannot study or train for more than four (4) months. This includes internships, part-time or full-time courses, and on job training.

Q:
How long does it take to process Work Holiday Pass?
A:
The application takes up to four (4) weeks to be processed for most cases. It may take longer when additional documents are required by the MOM.

Q:
Does the company need to pay any levy for Work Holiday Pass holder?
A:
No, the company is not required to pay any levy for Work Holiday Pass holder.

Q:
How long is the duration of Work Holiday Pass and is it renewable?
A:
The duration of Work Holiday Pass is up to 12 months. The Work Holiday Pass is issued only once, and it is not renewable.
