Q: What is the minimum capital requirement for establishing a company?
A: There is no minimum capital requirement for company registration.

Q: How many companies can register at a business address?
A: According to the Company Law, there are no provisions prohibiting the registration of a head office and branch office at the same address, or the registration of more than one company with the same business nature at the same address.

Q: What is the fee for an English certificate?
A: The fee for a company registration English certificate is TWD 600 for the first copy. For additional copies of the same certificate in the same application, the fee is TWD 100 per copy.

Q: Can a company handle its own registration?
A: A company can either handle its own registration or entrust the process to an accountant or lawyer.

Q: Is company registration required when adding a retail branch or other business location? Is company registration required for business locations or contact points outside the registered company address?
A: There are no prohibitive regulations under current laws for adding a retail branch, business outlet, or supply station under the company’s name for business promotion. If the business unit is small and does not meet the requirements for establishing a company, company registration is not necessary.
