Where can I conduct company searches?
A:
You can conduct company searches at the Hong Kong Companies Registry through online or physical visit. Kaizen can provide this company searches service.

Q:
Must I be a director, shareholder or company secretary of the Hong Kong Company in order to conduct company searches?
A:
No. Kaizen can assist you to conduct company searches, please let us know the name of the target searching company and relationship between you and company, the purposes and what kind of the company searches that you need for our handling. Any omission may lead to different search results.

Q:
When can I obtain the search result?
A:
Kaizen can provide the search result within a half day. A longer time may be required depending on the quantity and nature of the company search.

Q:
Can I obtain the report which summarises the latest information of a Hong Kong company?
A: You can order a company search report, it provides information including but not limited to basic company information (for examples, name, date of incorporation and registration number), the registered office address/address of principal place of business in Hong Kong, share capital, name(s) of current director(s) and reserve director(s)(if any), and name(s) of company secretary, receiver(s) (if any), manager(s) (if any) and liquidator(s) (if any).

Q:
What information will not be summarised in the company searches report?
A: The information on shareholders will not be shown on the company searches report. For the Hong Kong company limited by shares, you can obtain the records of Incorporation Form, Annual Returns (with a list of members) and Returns of Allotment to obtain the shareholders' information.

Q:
Which types of Hong Kong companies that I can obtain company searches report?
A:
It is available for Hong Kong local companies or registered non-Hong Kong companies, except the:
Hong Kong companies requested to be struck off before 1 February 1998; or
Hong Kong companies had been dissolved or ceased to have the place of business in Hong Kong before 1 January 1999.
