According to the Labor Code of Vietnam, employees are entitled to 11 statutory holidays each year, including one day for New Year’s Day, five days for Lunar New Year Holiday, one day for Hung Kings Commemoration Day, one day for Reunification Day, one day for International Labor Day and two days for National day.

The detailed public holiday schedule for 2024 are as follows:

Note:

1. Foreign employees in Vietnam are entitled to one additional day off on the traditional New Year Holiday of their own country and one additional day off on the National Day of their own country.
2. If a public holiday fall on either Saturday or Sunday, employees are entitled to have the following working day off as compensation.
